Temperatures in the Pacific Island

Temperatures in the Pacific Ocean range from freezing in the north and south pole waters to a warm 30 degrees Centigrade (86 degrees Fahrenheit) at the toasty Equator. It contains over 25,000 islands, mostly in the South Pacific Island. Waters circulate in a clockwise pattern in the North Pacific and counter-clockwise in the South Pacific. Other north and south currents are driven by trade winds. The Pacific is marked by deep trenches, submerged volcanic mountains, and islands that were formed by volcanoes.

There are three main groups of islands in the Pacific Ocean: Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia. They are several types of islands, from high mountains, to coral reefs, continental islands and volcanic islands. Pacific Island temperatures are mostly moderate, as most of the smaller islands are found within a small range of 30 degrees North and 30 degrees south, of the Equator. For this reason, the Pacific Islands are a popular tourist destination for pacific travel destination all year around. Exotic locations are found in the Pacific Island, including Samoa, the Cook Islands, Guam, Pitcairn Islands, Tonga, the Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, New Zealand, and more islands.

Pacific Travel: South Pacific Cruise Ship Vacation

If you are limited in vacation time but want to take a cruise through the South Pacific, a one week pacific cruises to Tahiti is the right option for you. A typical one-week Tahiti cruise begins in Papeete, Tahiti, where the major airport is located. On the first day the pacific cruises ship stays docked so cruisers have time for sightseeing and shopping.
